Katniss's white wedding gown is visually distinct enough to justify its own build. In the story, the Capitol-selected wedding dress is described as heavy white silk with a tight waist, long sleeves, pearls, and a veil/crown. When Katniss spins during the interview, the white outer dress burns away to reveal the black Mockingjay design underneath. For cosplay purposes, the white wedding-gown state is treated separately from the transformed black Mockingjay dress because the construction, silhouette, materials, and styling are completely different.
