Nezuko Kamado — Awakened / Advanced Demon Nezuko

The look

Nezuko's awakened demon form is substantially different from her standard appearance and should be treated as its own full cosplay. The transformation includes a larger and more mature-looking body, longer hair, removal of the bamboo muzzle, a single horn, altered eyes and prominent vine-like markings across her body.

Base costume

1. 01Altered Pink Kimono — The kimono becomes more revealing as the sleeves are lost during the transformation.
2. 02White Underlayer
3. 03Obi / Waist Elements
4. 04Dark Haori Elements — The standard haori is no longer worn in the same complete form.
5. 05Barefoot / Altered Footwear — Her awakened appearance does not retain the complete standard footwear arrangement.

Character details

The transformation is primarily communicated through the body markings, horn, eyes, longer hair and altered clothing. This should not be recreated by simply adding face paint to the standard Nezuko costume.

Hair / face / makeup

• HAIR: Much longer hair, extending dramatically toward the feet.
• HORN: A short white horn appears on the right side of the forehead with a cracked appearance.
• EYES: Darker, cat-like slit pupils with altered iris detailing.
• MARKINGS: Red-and-green vine-like markings extend across the arms, legs and torso.
• FACE: Additional vein-like markings appear around the forehead and left eye.

Props

• No major prop is required. The transformation is visually self-contained.
