Base costume
- 01Base bodysuit/zentai in a matching undertone beneath the prosthetic pieces
- 02Sculpted accent pieces (claws, exposed musculature, scarring) attached with prosthetic adhesive
- 03Colored sclera/theatrical contacts only if the character has visible altered eyes — safety-certified only
- 04Textured footwear/gloves rather than standard shoes if the creature has clawed extremities
Character details
Prosthetic application and airbrush blending are specialist skills — this is not a sew-and-wear build, budget for practice runs before an event.
Hair / face / makeup
- Silicone or foam-latex prosthetic pieces (face, limbs, or torso overlay) matching the creature's texture
- Airbrushed multi-layer paint pass over the prosthetics for a non-flat, skin-like finish
What makes the cosplay read as Demogorgon
base bodysuit/zentai in a matching undertone beneath the prosthetic pieces + sculpted accent pieces + colored sclera/theatrical contacts only if the character has visible altered eyes — get those right and the build reads as Demogorgon instantly.
