A2
Rogue YoRHa Prototype
Overview
Battle-damaged version of the YoRHa look — torn black shorts and a cropped, ragged top, long white hair worn loose and uneven (she cuts it herself in-game), heavy scarring and exposed machine damage across the arms and torso.

The look
A2 is a former YoRHa Type A prototype who specializes in close-range combat. Unlike the maintained YoRHa units, A2 has been living as a deserter for years, leaving her appearance heavily damaged and unmaintained. Her standard appearance consists of long, wild pale hair, blue eyes, a small beauty mark, and an extremely minimal outfit. Large areas of artificial skin are missing, revealing the black protective material underneath. The result should look damaged, abandoned, functional, and combat-worn, rather than like a clean futuristic bodysuit.
Base costume
- 01Black Midriff Cloth / Sash
- 02A2's actual remaining clothing is extremely minimal.
- 03A dark velvet-like cloth wraps around the midsection.
- 04It should appear worn and practical rather than polished.
- 05Black Artificial-Skin Underlayer
- 06This is one of the most important elements.
- 07Exposed sections create the appearance of: ◦ sleeveless upper-body coverage ◦ long gloves/arm coverings ◦ shorts/hotpants ◦ thigh-high boot sections
- 08A black bodysuit is the safest practical foundation for cosplay.
- 09Exposed/Damaged Skin Sections
- 10The transition between normal artificial skin and the black underlayer should look intentional.
- 11Use prosthetic/body-safe makeup or printed fabric panels rather than attempting unsafe body modifications.
- 12Thigh-High Black Boot Sections
- 13Tall black boots or integrated bodysuit boot covers.
- 14The silhouette should remain sleek and close to the body.
- 15Optional YoRHa Details
- 16Minimal technical details can be incorporated around the costume.
- 17Avoid making her look like 2B; A2's stripped-down, damaged appearance is the key distinction.

What makes the cosplay read as A2
The most important combination is: Wild long pale hair + blue eyes + beauty mark + extremely minimal black outfit + exposed artificial- skin sections + battle-worn appearance. A2 should look noticeably rougher and less maintained than 2B. The damaged body construction is particularly important. A clean black bodysuit alone can make the costume look like a generic futuristic character, while carefully recreating the exposed black underlayer gives it the specific A2 silhouette.
