Iron Man's read is a sealed armored suit, not layered fabric — full coverage plating and a closed helmet mean there is no visible hair or human clothing to source; the whole build is hard-surface fabrication.

Full hard-surface coverage plus a sealed helmet is a multi-week build — patterning, forming, and finishing dominate the timeline over any fabric work.

• 01EVA foam or 3D-printed plate armor covering the full body
• 02Sealed full-face helmet (3D-printed shell + smoothed with filler primer)
• 03Under-suit (compression base layer or zentai) worn beneath the plates, never shown bare
• 04Articulated joint covers so the plating moves without gapping
• 05Interior padding/harness so the helmet and torso plates sit securely
• 06Weathering/paint pass matching the suit's exact palette

• →Plate patterns: Cults3D/Thingiverse — search the character's exact suit name before freehanding geometry.
• →Under-suit: plain black zentai/compression layer from a cosplay supplier, not a 'costume' listing.
• →Helmet: 3D-print + auto-body filler + wet-sand + auto-paint for a hard, non-foam finish.
• →Foam: 10mm EVA floor-mat foam, heat-formed and sealed with Plasti-Dip before paint.
