What makes the cosplay read as Ranni the Witch
The essential combination is: Huge Snow Witch hat + blue skin + long blue hair + four arms + white robe + fur cloak. If the hat and four-arm silhouette are missing, the cosplay can easily become confused with a generic fantasy witch. VARIANT EXCLUSIONS Ranni's miniature doll appearance is not counted separately because it is the same fundamental Snow Witch doll design at a different scale. Her original Empyrean body is also not treated as a standard cosplay variant: the recognizable playable Ranni identity is centered on her doll form, while the original body is primarily a story/lore revelation rather than a recurring costume design. The Snow Witch robe's altered version is likewise not counted as a separate cosplay because it is a minor clothing alteration rather than a substantially different Ranni design. The source specifically notes that the altered robe retains the same description.
